Hafizabad is located at distance of 120 km from Lahore. It is a place where epilepsy is very common and it is treated by Hakeem using Hijama method in un sterilized manner. This leads to serious medical  and neurological complication. MIND ORGANIZATION got to know of it and decided to start its services in that area in 1997. The Hafizabad project was launched on May 30, 1997. Previously doctors from Lahore would visit district hosp and provide patients with free consultation and free medication.

With passage of time number of beneficiaries got increased and we were finding it difficult to manage in District hospital so we shifted our camp at the franchise of an NGO Bunyad Foundation. MIND’s team consisting of four psychiatric residents, co coordinator, and multipurpose worker visits Hafizabad once every fortnight on Saturdays and provides consultation and medication free of cost. We deal with patients of different variety, ranging from Psychosis, Neurosis and Epilepsy. They get proper diagnosis and treatment free of cost and MIND ORGANZIATION help them to become functional in their day to day working.
